Week 3

Reading

In this week, we did another presentation about other country; now was turn of Sweden. To do this presentation, we have investigated about one problem of the country, then, for our surprise, many information about the country was in English, so it was a good challenge to improve the reading skills.

One of the pages consulted was the OECD ranking, which evaluate many things of a country like economy or education, and make a ranking around the world. Here you can find many information like population, tax on personal income, etc.

Writing

In order to complete the presentation of that week, we did an essay about what we think about the country and solve a problem. It was like the last presentation, but with other country and the problem also was different.

With nothing more to share about the presentation, unless that was different in comparison with the last one in the vocabulary, because the problem presented was different and we used more learned topics from the class.

Listening

As other weeks, we did many exercises like the TOEIC exams in the English lab, and fortunately, my results were better than the last time I did a similar exercise. I think these exercises will make the difference at the moment of my real exam.

In other way, I still try doing my best in listening skills with the same page I mentioned the last week, and proudly I can say that I have learned with that page the differences about many words with songs, and I can see more series without subtitles.

Speaking

We did the presentation about Sweden and all I can say about the speaking is it was more difficult because I had many things in the week and for that presentation I wasn't focused on what I wanted to say.

We recorded the presentation and after I watched it, I think I can do it better, without any support, as the little piece of paper in my hands, and for the speaking in the TOEIC exam, try to be more focused in the speaking section.
